Rosewood Hotel Group names Kevin Yung CFO

Rosewood Hotel Group has appointed Kevin Yung as CFO. A 25-year industry veteran, he spent the past two years as managing partner of Rosewood Capital Ventures and also served as a strategic advisor to Rosewood Hotel Group.

In his new role, Yung will oversee the financial operations of the group’s global brands, while retaining his previous role at Rosewood Capital Ventures.

Prior to joining Rosewood, he held several senior positions in finance and investment. He previously served as CEO of Chow Tai Fook Education Group (CTFEG) in Hong Kong. He previously spent nearly a decade in Beijing establishing his career in finance and investment as a senior executive at both public and private companies inclusive of major real estate funds and financial institutions. He began his career in the principal investment area in New York, first as an associate at Morgan Stanley and later as VP at Citigroup.

Throughout his career, Yung has served on the board of directors for a variety of businesses and institutions. Currently, he sits on the boards Noah Education Holdings Ltd., an operator of kindergarten schooling; Happiest Baby, a technology company dedicated to identifying solutions for parents; and Shih Hsin University, a private university in Taipei.
