Hotel Equities to oversee renovation of GA Residence Inn

Hotel owner, operator and developer Hotel Equities (HE) has been selected to oversee the extensive renovation for the Residence Inn by Marriott-Atlanta Perimeter Center/Dunwoody located in Dunwoody, GA.

The hotel originally opened in 2017 and immediately became the market leader in RevPAR and guest satisfaction, according to the company. The hotel’s owners tapped HE’s development services program to govern the renovation.

The property’s renovation will encompass various aspects with the objective to transform the property into a modern and inviting destination that caters to the evolving needs and preferences of today’s travelers, the company reports.

“Our Development Services program allows us to leverage our deep industry knowledge and extensive network of suppliers to deliver outstanding results for hotel owners and developers,” said Brad Rahinsky, president/CEO, Hotel Equities. “We look forward to working closely with our partners to maximize the property’s potential.”

Patrick Trainor, VP, projects and facilities, HE, leads the Development Services team and has nearly 30 years of development experience having completed more than 200 new-build, renovation and conversion projects. He also serves on Marriott’s Capital Asset Planning & Execution board.

“It’s so important to work with a partner who has the ability to look at a remodel project through multiple lenses,” said Trainor. “With experience comes a greater level of brand knowledge—what works well and what doesn’t—and the ability to apply best practices to make projects cost-effective and operationally efficient at every level. Hotel builds and property improvement plans are major investments emphasizing the importance of working with a team with resources and industry connections to make sure you get it right and avoid costly mistakes.”
