Hotel Equities promotes Peter Tziahanas, David Rosenberg to division presidents

Hotel Equities (HE) has made a series of executive appointments across its full-service, focused-service and lifestyle divisions. Including appointing Peter Tziahanas as president, full-service division and David Rosenberg as president, focused-service division

By promoting from within, we’re investing in high performers who will help us grow our portfolio and expand our platform for innovation—from traditional hotels to new concepts like our leading outdoor hospitality brand, Postcard Cabins.”

Tziahanas joined Hotel Equities in 2021 and previously served as EVP, operations, overseeing key lifestyle and owned assets across the firm’s portfolio. In his new role, he collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to drive operational excellence, profitability and enhanced guest and employee engagement. Before joining HE, he held several multi-unit leadership positions with prominent management groups, including Pivot Hotels at Davidson Hospitality Group, where he led the lifestyle operating vertical.

Rosenberg joined Hotel Equities in 2020 and most recently served as EVP. operations, where he oversaw the deployment of analytics-driven performance dashboards, managed M&A integrations and led a substantial portion of HE’s multi-branded hotel portfolio. He also guided the company’s entry into the outdoor hospitality segment through the integration of Postcard Cabins into the portfolio. With extensive experience across both full-service and select-service hotels, he has held several executive roles throughout his career.

Other promotions include:

Becky Vealey, SVP, sales, full-service & lifestyle division: Vealey, previously HE’s VP, Revenue Generation, now oversees sales strategies for the full-service and lifestyle divisions. She leads a team of revenue managers, corporate directors of sales and marketing executives, driving revenue across a multi-brand portfolio. With more than a decade in above-property roles and hands-on experience at the property level, she brings a strategic and operational edge in revenue generation and commercial leadership, according to the company. She is also active in HE’s mentorship initiatives helping grow the next generation of leaders in the industry.

Carol Lobaito, SVP. sales, focused-service division: Lobaito, formerly VP, sales & marketing, now oversees strategic initiatives to grow market share, drive revenue and enhance brand awareness within the focused-service division and across HE’s outdoor hospitality portfolio. With more than 20 years of experience spanning property-level sales, multi-property oversight and national brand leadership, she excels at collaborating with property teams, ownership groups and franchise partners, according to the company.

Liz Flurry, VP, growth marketing: Flurry, formerly director, marketing and brand activation, has been promoted to this new role in which she develops and executes innovative digital marketing and e-commerce strategies to drive booking conversion across HE’s branded portfolio. She brings extensive experience in traditional and digital marketing, social media, reputation management and brand development, including seven years with Marriott.

Eve Tronson, VP, marketing, lifestyle division: Tronson joins HE as VP, marketing, overseeing brand, digital, CRM and field marketing strategy across the portfolio of lifestyle and independent hotels. With more than two decades of hospitality experience, including leadership roles at Viceroy Hotels & Resorts, she brings expertise in brand storytelling, performance marketing, e-commerce and guest lifecycle strategy.

Brandon Standerfer, VP, distribution, lifestyle division: Standerfer was promoted from his previous role as corporated director, distribution for Springboard Hospitality. He brings more than 20 years of experience in revenue management, distribution optimization, project management, call center operations, reservation sales and process improvement. He has worked across all hotel segments, from economy to boutique lifestyle luxury.

Jennifer Cannistraci, VP, sales, lifestyle division: Cannistraci, formerly in a similar role with Springboard Hospitality, leads strategic growth and brand success across a portfolio of lifestyle assets. With experience at Four Seasons, The Beverly Hilton, Sunset Marquis and Hotel Amarano, she combines creativity with data-driven strategy to deliver measurable results and elevate brand presence, according to the company.
