Woon Lee, president of Woodcraft Hospitality, a leading hospitality casegood manufacturer, has revealed the appointment of Deidre Schwartz as the company’s VP of design & marketing starting Jan. 4, 2021. Schwartz has been a leader in the industry for more than 20 years with her most recent tenure at American Hotel Register Company where she was head of design for the organization for more than 13 years.
Lee made this appointment as a strategic move to cater to the needs of the hospitality designers and procurement agents who execute these complex projects. “We greatly appreciate the talent of these professionals in our industry are confident Deidre will help us exceed their expectations of service and product,” said Lee. Woodcraft concluded its first annual Design Contest in 2020, a project that Schwartz led and will continue in 2021.
“Woodcraft Hospitality had exceeded my expectations while partnering with them on prior brand development work,” said Schwartz. “The quality and timeliness of their service and final product ended up saving us a ton of time in the process so we could focus on what mattered most in our business….our customer. I am excited to help bring Woodcraft Hospitality to more hospitality customers so they, too, can focus on what matters most to them. I was very impressed with Lee’s idea around the 2020 Design Contest, offering a way for designers to stay creative during the pandemic with the potential to reap financial reward.
