R+B Principal-Owner/Project Manager Craig Lawrence (pictured above), AIA, has been a member of the R+B team for more than a decade. An avid collaborator, one of his strengths is building a team with common consensus and purpose.

Acknowledging his promotion to principal, he said, “R+B is a special place to be. The super-talented team, the inspired design, the exceptional business practice, all combine to make this firm unique. I have been fortunate to be a part of it for over a decade, contributing as an emerging professional all the way to associate and on all manner of projects, but I am even more fortunate to have the opportunity to contribute at this elevated level. I believe wholeheartedly in what Sarah (Broughton) and John (Rowland) have worked tirelessly to create—this amazing culture of excellence—and am beyond honored and excited to contribute to that tradition. “

Will Otte

R+B Principal-Owner/Project Manager Will Otte, AIA, LEED AP BD+C, has 13 years of experience working in the field of architecture. Originally from Aspen, he was exposed at a young age to architecture and construction through homes his family built in the area. His path at R+B began early as an emerging professional. A transition to Denver to complete graduate school and gain licensure evolved into a leadership position at R+B and has ultimately come full circle with his promotion to principal.

About his promotion, he said, “Over the course of my career I have had the opportunity to work with some amazing clients and amazing colleagues. It has been a journey, but the journey is the most important part. We are fortunate to be in a profession that continues to evolve, and each day presents new challenges and new opportunities. There is always something to learn in order to be better the next time. Our incredible team at R+B continues to push boundaries and look towards what is next. I could not be in the position I am today without the support of amazing teams, amazing clients and thoughtful mentors. I am honored to be recognized in this position and very excited about the prospects ahead of us. We have some great opportunities on the horizon and I’m excited to see how we can continue to elevate and push the envelope.”

He strives to bring a fresh perspective and new technologies to the firm to push the world of architectural representation forward while seeking his professional licensure. Born and raised in Tennessee and a graduate of the University of Tennessee, Knoxville’s Master of Architecture program, he is an avid lover of film and furniture design.
