Preferred Hotels & Resorts has added 10 properties to its global portfolio in the first quarter of 2023. The new properties range from a modern chalet-style resort in the Austrian Alps to a 39-story skyscraper in New York City’s NoMad district. Highlights include:

Comprising an entire city block in the NoMad neighborhood, Virgin Hotels New York City—the newest addition to the Virgin Hotels collection—delivers a “vibrant yet sophisticated experience.” With a contemporary design that melds the classic Virgin aesthetic with the dynamism of the Big Apple, the 39-story hotel extends 460 guestrooms, suites and penthouses with floor-to-ceiling windows offering skyline views. Surrounded by some of Madrid’s most important museums and landmarks, in a neighborhood known for its architecture, Hotel Villa Real 5* is situated in the heart of the Spanish capital. Offering refined warmth, the 115 guestrooms and suites feature traditional furnishings and marble-clad baths, many also benefit from private balconies or terraces with city views.
