IDeaS, Host Hotel Systems Implement Two-Way Data Integration
IDeaS and Host Hotel Systems’ two-way data integration provides hotels with the most advanced science and automation to optimize the front- and back-office operations while maximizing revenue performance. The collaboration automates the seamless transfer of information between IDeaS’ revenue management solutions and Hostpms Property Management System (PMS).
By streamlining the exchange of data between the Hostpms PMS and IDeaS RMS and G3 RMS, the integration transfers real-time transactional data by room type to IDeaS, while automatically providing Host’s PMS with IDeaS’ pricing and inventory controls. Near-real-time updates provide hoteliers a time-saving solution to reduce manual efforts while optimizing revenue and delivering a greater guest experience.
Nomadix Casting Launches
Nomadix Inc. has introduced its new cost-effective solution Nomadix Casting, which enables guests to choose the content they want to watch and cast it with their devices directly to the in-room TV. As more people “cut the cord” and stream their own content at home, the guest preference to access the same content when they travel has significantly increased. Nomadix Casting modernizes the guest experience while providing an affordable and secure solution for hotels to meet this new demand.
Branded to align with each hotel’s look and feel and customizable in numerous languages, Nomadix Casting enables guests to quickly pair their devices with the in-room TV. No downloads are needed on guest devices, and there’s no need to enter usernames with the remote or share passwords with the hotel. Thousands of apps are supported to allow guests to watch the latest Netflix episode, work out, listen to music or stream a business training video. Unlike mirrored casting solutions, once streaming starts, the process is offloaded to the casting server, which allows guests to use their iOS or Android devices without interrupting the streaming content.
Sbe Renews Exclusive Water Partnership with Danone
Sbe continued the growth of its partnership with beverage company Danone Waters of America by renewing their exclusive agreement across North America and the Bahamas. In addition, the company’s spring water brand, Evian, will continue to serve as Sbe’s preferred water provider across the brands and global properties owned and operated within the Sbe portfolio.
As part of this continued collaboration, Danone Waters of America will supply Evian and Italian sparkling mineral water Ferrarelle, which it distributes for in-room consumption at Sbe F&B establishments across the globe. This collaboration, which will be incorporated into the amenity program at the majority of Sbe properties, will consist of cultural activations, product launches, exclusive content and, most importantly, elevated brand experiences for Sbe guests.
Allbridge and Ipanema Solutions Merge
Allbridge, a provider of data, video and voice technologies for hospitality and senior living properties, has merged with Ipanema Solutions, a provider of technology engineering, systems design and project management for new-build hotels.
As the hospitality industry looks for a more unified technology experience, the addition of Ipanema’s technology engineering and system design to Allbridge’s complementary suite of best-in-class data, video, and voice solutions further enhances the latter’s end-to-end offering to include new-construction planning capabilities. The companies will combine expertise to simplify the implementation of converged network solutions and bring one connected experience to hotels and their guests nationwide.
World Cinema Provides In-Room Entertainment for Intown Suites
World Cinema has revealed that it is providing its best-in-class in-room guest entertainment solutions to InTown Suites’ 196 properties across 22 states.
World Cinema’s turn-key in-room digital entertainment solutions for InTown Suites properties include a 60-channel HD television lineup, offering guests the ability to view the content they most want. And because the majority of the guest stays at InTown Suites properties are more than a few weeks, the goal was to provide a comprehensive variety of in-room entertainment options for all guests to enjoy and feel at home.
