Royalton Park Avenue Leverages Hotel Internet Services’ Expertise
Hotel Internet Services (HIS) has been credited with enhancing guest and business meeting WiFi services for the Royalton Park Avenue in New York City. Previously experiencing connectivity issues due to legacy network equipment, Royalton Park Avenue sought out the services to ensure a strong signal throughout guest and meeting areas. Hotel leadership also desired the ability to simultaneously provide fast connection speeds. By working with HIS, the hotel was able to have advanced Ruckus access points placed throughout the property in order to eliminate any weak signal areas. With the additional implementation of the HIS Fusion network gateway solution, Royalton Park Avenue also gains greater control over network health and performance.

Rosewood Hotel Group’s VP of Global Sales & Marketing Receives Honor 
The Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association International (HSMAI) has selected Caroline MacDonald, VP of global sales and marketing for Rosewood Hotel Group, as one of the “The HSMAI Top 25: Extraordinary Minds in Hospitality Sales, Marketing, Revenue Optimization” for 2019. The 17th annual list recognizes the “best of the best” in the hospitality, travel and tourism industries. Recipients will be honored during a private ceremony on Jan. 21 at the New York Marriott Marquis and during the Adrian Awards Dinner Reception and Gala that follows. The 2019 Top 25 recipients were judged by a panel of senior industry executives for their recent work based on the following criteria: creativity and innovation, cutting edge sales or marketing campaigns, triumph in challenging situations and/or sales efforts that resulted in dramatic gains.

Bookboost Awarded for Messaging Platform
Bookboost Guest Messaging is the winner of the “World’s Leading Guest Messaging Platform 2019” by the World Travel Awards. Bookboost was recognized for its guest messaging technology, serving a variety of hotels, hostels and service apartments in the hospitality industry. Bookboost has been focusing on developing guest messaging solutions by utilizing AI technology to help hotels better communicate and connect with their guests. Bookboost has been widely used by hotel chains, groups and independent hotels, such as Ruby hotels and CityHub Group. The World Travel Awards was established in 1993 to acknowledge, reward and celebrate excellence across all key sectors of the travel, tourism and hospitality industries. The award is voted on by travel and tourism professionals and consumers worldwide.

Cheval Blanc Randheli Implements InnSpire Technology
InnSpire, the provider of a comprehensive technology suite that helps drive a seamless experience for hotels and brands, has been selected by Cheval Blanc Randheli in the Maldives to provide its full suite of guest connectivity and digital guest journey solutions across the property. InnSpire’s digital solutions work as one to provide guests with full control over their travel experience, from mobile guestroom access to entertainment, TV, Chromecast, temperature-control and lighting, and more. InnSpire’s partnership with Cheval Blanc Randheli includes the company’s guest-facing services, consisting of InnSpire’s mobile app, a connected TV and entertainment experience, a movie library and networking services, all part of a complete solution.

Whittlebury Park Hotel & Spa Selects Agilysys to Personalize Dining
Agilysys Inc., a global provider of next-generation hospitality software solutions and services, has revealed that Whittlebury Park Hotel & Spa, in Northamptonshire, U.K., has selected rGuest Seat to improve the dining reservations experience and provide servers visibility into guest food and beverage preferences, along with rGuest Pay to ensure the security of guest payment information. Whittlebury Park is a longtime user of Agilysys Visual One property management system (PMS) and InfoGenesis point of sale (POS) systems. rGuest Seat is a comprehensive reservation, table and wait list management solution that streamlines operations. rGuest Pay is a PCI validated point-to-point encryption (P2PE) payment solutions for hospitality.
