NMDA elevates three

Specialized hospitality architecture firm Nunzio Marc DeSantis Architects (NMDA) has promoted Christina Straughan (pictured above) to partner in the firm. This promotion reflects her exceptional performance and leadership, and her contributions to the growth of the company, according to NMDA. Alongside Straughan’s promotion, the company is also elevating two long-standing members of its team, Michael Lungren and Greg Villegas, to associate principal and vice president, respectively. These promotions signify Nunzio Marc Desantis Architects’ commitment to promoting from within and developing its team members.

As the newly named partner, Straughan brings more than 21 years of experience in the hospitality industry to Nunzio Marc Desantis Architects. In her role as creative director, she has worked closely with the partners to develop innovative design concepts, company branding and marketing communications. Straughan’s extensive experience and expertise in the hospitality industry have enabled her to effectively lead the design teams in producing high-quality client packages. Additionally, she has been instrumental in creating and managing the firm’s brand identity on a global scale, ensuring a cohesive and recognizable image that reflects the company’s values and reputation for excellence.

Michael Lungren

Alongside Straughan’s promotion, Nunzio Marc Desantis Architects has promoted Lungren to associate principal. Nunzio Marc Desantis Architects has also promoted Villegas from senior designer to VP. He has played a key role in developing and delivering innovative design solutions for clients across a wide range of industries, including hospitality, commercial and residential. In his new role as VP, Villegas will continue to lead the design team and ensure the firm’s design standards are consistently met or exceeded.
