Serta Simmons Bedding, LLC has added Brian Coughlin as VP/GM of Hospitality, reporting to Scott Bolle, SVP, national accounts and hospitality sales.
“Brian has decades of demonstrated leadership expertise in the hospitality industry and a passion for driving growth,” said Bolle. “I look forward to partnering with Brian to further strengthen Serta Simmons Bedding’s position in this space.”
Coughlin brings more than 30 years of experience in the hospitality and interiors industries to the company, most recently serving as president/CEO at VE Textiles, a manufacturer of high-performance upholstery fabrics. Prior to that, he spent seven years with Warp & Phil, an industry startup he founded, which was ultimately acquired by Kansas City-based Fabri-Quilt, Inc., in 2015.
He also held leadership positions with bedding and drapery fabricator Fabtex, Inc. and former textile manufacturer Richmond Textiles. During his tenure at Richmond Textiles, he grew the organization into a hospitality powerhouse specializing in brand standardized room décor programs, according to the company.
