NeueHouse Partners With Design Hotels

LOS ANGELES—NeueHouse, the private workspace and cultural home for creators, innovators and thought leaders, has launched a partnership with Design Hotels, a global collection of independent, design-driven hotels, that function as social hubs and spaces for purposeful experiences. Pivoting in the face of major disruption to the hospitality industry, the collaboration between the two companies reinforces their shared missions to support the creative communities with an innovative offering for members to use the spaces for both work and leisure.

The collaboration sees NeueHouse members at Hollywood and Bradbury (Los Angeles), as well as Madison Square (New York) locations receive complimentary use to areas designed for work, while giving them access to programming and amenities at 10 properties in California and New York.

The Design Hotels world offers cultural and creative activities including sound healing, breath classes, interactive art and writing workshops, mindfulness meditation and artisanal craft courses. These programs, normally open only to private members and in-house guests, are now accessible to the NeueHouse community. The partnership launches as Design Hotels Access through the NeueHouse app.

“The confluence of work, leisure, social, intellectual and creative moments has fundamentally evolved over the past seven months,” said Josh Wyatt, CEO, NeueHouse. “Meeting all of these needs for members and guests requires constructive thinking and partnering with people and brands who share an appreciation for bold thinking. Making moves together between NeueHouse and Design Hotels highlights this commitment to providing for the myriad of needs all of us now have as creative professionals and lovers of travel.”

NeueHouse members will also have access to special rates for dedicated, converted private workspaces, retreats and staycations at each of participating East and West Coast hotels, in addition to up to 40% off at more than 200 privately owned and operated hotels in over 60 countries from the Design Hotels portfolio.

Markus Schreyer, Design Hotels SVP, The Americas and business innovation, said, “As the world learns how to navigate its new identity, people are becoming more conscious about their choices, searching for genuine meaning in the products and services they interact with. At Design Hotels, we are uniquely positioned to deliver meaningful experiences through our member hotels as each property is truly unique. And through the partnership with our friends at NeueHouse, now their members can access these spaces for both work and relaxation, and create their own authentic and memorable experience.”
