Miami hotel offers in-house wellness services

The Elser Hotel & Residences, a new luxury residential tower in Downtown Miami with a full-service hotel program managed by Highgate, has added in-house wellness services by Pinecrest Wellness – Downtown.

As one of several Miami outposts for Pinecrest Physical Therapy, Pinecrest Wellness – Downtown brings the group’s unique brand of care to residents and guests by providing advanced techniques and personalized treatments to help them recover from injuries, improve mobility and enhance overall physical well-being, contributing to a healthier and more active lifestyle, according to the company. This addition complements The Elser’s current wellness offerings, which includes a two-story fitness complex, personal training services and a schedule of instructor-led group fitness classes.

“The addition of Pinecrest Wellness – Downtown to The Elser’s amenities further amplifies our commitment to offering our residents and guests with top-notch service and products,” said Michael Stephens, the hotel’s GM. “We continue to strive to develop new partnerships, amenities and unique offerings for our guests and residents.”

Services available at The Elser through Pinecrest Wellness – Downtown include:

  • Physical therapy: Expert physical therapists focus on restoring and improving physical function, mobility and quality of life through individualized care plans, exercises, manual techniques and patient education.
  • Personal training: Experienced, highly qualified trainers create personalized workout programs tailored to individuals’ fitness goals and needs.
  • Group personal training: Designed for small groups (up to four people), these workout programs embrace the energy and support of like-minded individuals as participants work toward their fitness goals together.
  • Dry needling: During this specialized noninvasive treatment, ultra-thin needles are inserted into trigger points, stimulating the body’s natural healing response, promoting muscle relaxation and alleviating pain.
  • Cupping: Specialized cups are placed on the skin to create a gentle suction, promoting improved blood circulation, relaxation and the release of tension and stress.
  • Normatec: Normatec sleeves use dynamic compression to massage the legs, arms or hips to enhance circulation, reduce muscle soreness and accelerate recovery.
  • Game ready: This innovative system combines cold therapy and active compression to reduce swelling, alleviate pain and accelerate the healing process.

“We are fortunate to bring our wellness and physical therapy services to the incredible Elser Hotel fitness facility, allowing its residents, guests and staff to recover, rejuvenate and thrive,” said Ron Yacoub, founder/president, Pinecrest Physical Therapy.
