McKibbon Hospitality has been awarded the management contract for the Tempo by Hilton Savannah Historic District, which broke ground in November 2023 and is anticipated to open this year.
The company will be charged with operating the hotel and establishing the property’s leadership team.

Located close to River Street, the hotel will feature tech-enabled guestrooms and Peloton suites, the brand’s Bluestone Lane Café and a rooftop bar offering views of the Savannah River. The Savannah Historic District Board has collaborated on the design of the LEED-certified hotel, ensuring the façade reflects the historic district’s character and heritage.
The property is the company’s second managed Tempo by Hilton hotel, joining the Tempo by Hilton Raleigh Downtown which opened in December, and the company’s fifth managed property in Savannah, joining Hampton Inn Savannah-Historic District and Holiday Inn Express-Savannah Historic District on Bay Street, as well as Residence Inn Savannah Downtown/Historic District and TownePlace Suites Savannah Midtown.
