Marriott Rochester Airport sold

DelMonte Hotel Group (DHG) has sold the Marriott Rochester Airport to SAI Global Investments LLC for an undisclosed amount. Hunter Hotel Advisors advised the seller.

The hotel offers 210 rooms to the city of Rochester, the third-largest metropolitan area in New York. Centered around multiple industrial and corporate demand generators, the hotel is half of a mile from Eastman Business Park and less than 15 minutes from downtown and East Rochester which is home to major companies such as Kodak, Xerox, Paychex, Wegmans, Bausch & Lomb and Sutherland Global. Further driving demand to the hotel is its close proximity to the Greater Rochester International Airport.

“DHG is excited to have executed on another successful sale with Mayank [Patel, SVP] and Hunter Hotel Advisors,” said Alex DelMonte, CEO/president, DelMonte Hotel Group. “This transaction represents the 10th hotel that DHG has entrusted the Hunter team to sell, and as always the Hunter team ran a competitive process that allowed us to maximize the value in our asset.”

Ashish Kapoor, CEO, SAI Global Investments, added, “We are thrilled to acquire this excellent asset in New York. There is a very promising future as we set foot in this market with a flagship brand from Marriott International as one of the few full-service hotels in the city of Rochester.”
