Kolter Hospitality has promoted John Beaton to EVP, operations after spending nearly seven years as SVP, operations.
Sara Martinez has also been promoted from VP, sales and marketing to SVP, commercial sales.
Beaton has been instrumental in shaping Kolter’s culture and direction, and his leadership has significantly contributed to the firm’s long-term success and growth, according to the company. He has more than 35 years of diverse hospitality management experience in the U.S. and Canada, ranging from urban convention hotels to luxury resorts for both independent and branded hotels including Hyatt, Hilton and Marriott.
Martinez has more than 20 years of industry experience in operations and sales leadership with managed, owner-operator and third-party management companies across the Midwest, Northeast, and Mid-Atlantic regions.

Kolter Hospitality, a division of The Kolter Group, currently operates 15 hotels in Florida totaling more than 2,300 keys in Boca Raton, Delray Beach, West Palm Beach, Palm Beach Gardens, Orlando, Fort Lauderdale, Dania Beach, Estero, Sarasota and St. Petersburg.
