White Lodging has opened the Kimpton Santo in San Antonio just over a mile from The Alamo. The property features 347 guestrooms, including 16 suites, four food and beverage outlets, a rooftop pool and more that 13,000 sq. ft. of event space,
The inspiration behind Kimpton Santo’s name stems from the essence of San Antonio’s namesake, Saint Anthony, along with the history of the land on which the hotel resides.
Eight guest suites are built within one of the historic buildings, complete with stone-clad walls and semi-private patios overlooking a historic courtyard shaded by century-old oak trees. Another historic building was recreated into the hotel’s signature restaurant, Dean’s Steak & Seafood.
