In her new role, Traeger-Tumsaroch will oversee all projects from concept to completion, while providing design leadership to the Indiana office. She will work closely alongside Patti Tritschler, IIG’s CEO/founder, as well as Leslie Schultz, SVP of design, in assisting with the development and expansion of the IIG brand while ensuring each project achieves its full potential and profitability. Her client roster will include global brands such as Marriott International and Hilton, in addition to other hotel companies.
“We are excited to have Brooke join the IIG family,” Tritschler said. ”As we continue to expand the firm and our client base, Brooke will be instrumental in helping our brand further define itself within the hospitality market. Her strong leadership skills will be a valuable asset to our growing team and in the enhancement in IIG’s identity.”
Traeger-Tumsaroch brings a full suite of expertise to IIG—studio management, business development and marketing, paired with a keen understanding of how to guide and mentor up-and-coming designers. She lends a unique perspective, having an impressive background of more than 16 years of experience in the luxury hotel and F&B industries, and a proven track record of leading large-scale projects.
She previously served as studio leader and associate principal at ForrestPerkins where her main focus was launching the firm’s new Chicago office. Prior to her role at ForrestPerkins, she lived in Bangkok, where she worked as a design director at AvroKO, overseeing luxury hospitality and F&B interior design projects in Asia and the Middle East. In this role, she collaborated with brands such as the Four Seasons, Park Hyatt, Shangri-La, Rosewood and Waldorf Astoria. Her most notable projects include the Rosewood Hotel Bangkok: Nan Bei Chinese Restaurant & Lennon’s Bar, Waldorf Astoria Bangkok: Bull & Bear Restaurant, Champagne Bar & Loft, Four Seasons Amman: La Capitale Restaurant, Palmer House Hilton, and Renaissance Arlington Capital View.
“I am so excited to be joining the IIG family and believe that my past experience working with luxury hotels and restaurants, in addition to my international portfolio, will help elevate and bring a worldly design perspective and creative approach to IIG’s projects,” Traeger-Tumsaroch said.
