Interior Image Group (IIG), an interior design, branding and procurement firm has promoted Jillian Schuck (pictured above) to director of design (she was previously senior designer-project manager) and has welcomed Scott Durst as senior project manager at its Crown Point, IN headquarters.
Schuck began her journey with IIG as an intern in college. She quickly advanced within the firm—progressing from a level 1 designer into her new role as director of design. Doing so shows the evolution of her success. Schuck takes a hands-on approach to guiding her team members, planning and managing projects from start to finish. Leveraging her strengths of communication, team motivation and overall organization, helps her achieve project goals and lead by example through self-managing and prioritizing numerous tasks. Some of her recent projects include the DoubleTree Hotel in Bedford Park, IL; Lyric Hotel in Cleveland, MS; Home2Suites in Atlanta; Avalon Bay Communities in Yonkers, NY; as well as several Hilton Garden Inn properties located in Louisville, KY; Indianapolis; Wesley Chapel, FL; and Atlanta.
As senior project manager, Durst will oversee design development and technical drawings on firm projects. He lends his expertise to the design team to further develop and carry out key design features and narratives that clients are craving. In his role, Durst also uses his solution-oriented approach—he works on various projects’ construction documents to ensure they meet all requirements and goals and offers insight during a project’s construction phase by working directly with contractors to keep projects moving along smoothly and smartly. Durst brings a strong architectural background and broadened cultural perspective to IIG. His wealth of experience includes working for firms like Steelman Partners and KPF London on various global projects where he designed, managed and built properties ranging from 300+ room hotels and casinos to master plans for cities in such locations as Las Vegas, London and the Middle East.
