Hotels open across the U.S.

Recent openings in the U.S. include a Hyatt House in the Denver area, a dual-branded Hilton property at the Boston Seaport and more.

Hyatt House Denver/Aurora
Owned by BMC Investments Co LLC, in partnership with Vision Hospitality Group (VHG) and managed by Humanist Hospitality, a division of VHG, the Hyatt House Denver/Aurora has opened adjacent to Anschutz Medical Campus.

Located 17 miles from Denver International Airport, the hotel offers 140 guestrooms, including 95 apartment-style kitchen suites with fully equipped kitchens. Amenities include free WiFi throughout the hotel and guestrooms; The Commons lounge and the Outdoor Commons, which includes an outdoor fire pit and barbecue; complimentary Morning Spread hot breakfast served daily; the H BAR featuring the Sip + Snack Menu; the 24-hour H Market; a 24-hour gym; and gathering rooms with more than 1,800 sq. ft. of flexible meeting spaces.

Hampton Inn by Hilton/Homewood Suites by Hilton Boston Seaport
The dual-branded Hampton Inn by Hilton Boston Seaport and Homewood Suites by Hilton Boston Seaport has opened. It is the largest dual-branded property for the Hilton flags, according to the company. The newly constructed property is owned by Intercontinental Real Estate Corporation and Harbinger Development.

Located at the gateway to the Raymond L. Flynn Marine Park, the 14-story, 416-room property offers more than 6,000 sq. ft. of meeting space, including two outdoor decks. Other amenities include a heated indoor pool, complimentary WiFi, a 24-hour fitness center, laundry services, complimentary hot breakfast and a 24-hour market.

The Kimpton Goodland Hotel Fort Lauderdale Beach
The Kimpton Goodland Hotel Fort Lauderdale Beach, owned by Banyan Investment Group and operated by Hotel Equities, has opened as the brand’s first property in the market and seventh property in Florida.

Located in the North Beach Village neighborhood, one block away from the beach, the 96-key property is an adaptive-reuse of the historic Escape Hotel, which originally opened in 1950 as the first year-round resort in Fort Lauderdale. The hotel spans three two-story buildings and has four F&B concepts, the nearly 400-sq.-ft. Wayfarer Board Room, a fitness center and two private pools, one on the ground level and the other atop the eighth-floor rooftop, each complete with a pool bar.

Tru by Hilton Asheville East
The 86-room Tru by Hilton Asheville East, owned and operated by BCA Hotels, has opened near Biltmore Estates and Downtown Asheville. Amenities include a complimentary build­-your-own “Top It” breakfast bar, a 2,880-sq.- ft. lobby with a 24/7 Eat. & Sip. market, free WiFi, a social media wall and a fitness center.

Residence Inn by Marriott Sedona
The 90-suite Residence Inn by Marriott hotel in Sedona, AZ, has opened. Owned by Sedona Hospitality Group II LLC and managed by Sunridge Hotel Group, the all-suite hotel is located in West Sedona, three miles south of Uptown Sedona.

Each suite has a fully-equipped kitchen with a coffee maker, microwave oven, residential-sized appliances and a flat-screen television with access to Netflix, Hulu and YouTube. Amenities include a fitness center, an outdoor pool, a hot tub, a full-service bar, outdoor space with multiple patios with barbecue grills and a view deck, free WiFi, a complimentary hot breakfast buffet, guest laundry and 550 sq. ft. of meeting space.

HomeTowne Studios Newport News
The HomeTowne Studios by Red Roof in Newport News, VA, has opened with 52 rooms featuring kitchenettes with full-sized refrigerators, free WiFi, HD flat-screen TVs with cable and weekly housekeeping. The hotel is less than a mile from Huntington Beach and is also near Virginia Living Museum, USS Monitor Center and Christopher Newport University.
