Hawkins Way Capital, in partnership with Battery Global Advisors, has completed a $100 million renovation of the Sheraton Boston, witch aligns with the hotel’s 60th anniversary.
As part of Marriott International’s global transformation of the Sheraton brand, the project reimagines guestrooms, public areas, dining venues and meeting spaces.
“We are proud to unveil a reimagined Sheraton Boston that reflects both the historic character of the city and the evolving expectations of today’s traveler,” said Ross Walker, managing partner, Hawkins Way Capital. “This property upgrade represents an important investment into a hospitality destination that will serve as a cultural and community anchor in prime Boston.”
David Rothenhaus, co-CIO of real estate, Battery Global Advisors, added, “The transformation of the Sheraton Boston marks an exciting new chapter, and we couldn’t be more proud to partner with Hawkins Way Capital in bringing this vision to life. This renovation redefines modern hospitality in the heart of the city.”
Guestrooms and suites now feature a residential-inspired style with Sheraton Signature Beds, sit-stand desks and views of the Boston skyline and Charles River. Public areas have been transformed with a contemporary design that celebrates Boston’s spirit. The renovation also introduced new dining and lifestyle experiences, including Henderson at Sheraton Boston, an all-day restaurant and bar, and &More by Sheraton, a market-style cafe. The property now includes a refreshed pool deck with cabanas, a retractable roof and an outdoor sundeck, as well as access to the exclusive Sheraton Club lounge for Marriott Bonvoy members. In addition, the hotel’s 70,000 sq. ft. of meeting and event space has been fully reimagined.
Located in Boston’s Back Bay, the hotel is adjacent to the Prudential Center and Hynes Convention Center.
