Green Key Global, BWH partner for sustainability

Green Key Global, a sustainability certification organization for the hotel and lodging industry in North America, has partnered with BWH Hotels as a preferred supplier of certification for hotel operations’ environmental sustainability practices in the U.S. and Canada.

The partnership will enable BWH Hotels properties to implement a standardized sustainability program in the two countries. By partnering with Green Key Global, BWH Hotels can assure guests that they’re staying in a hotel that takes environmental sustainability seriously, the companies report.

“BWH Hotels have already demonstrated a commitment to sustainability efforts as a brand and across their portfolio of hotels,” said Rebecca Bartlett Jones, director, Green Key Global. “Partnering with Green Key Global will help strengthen their efforts and provide credible recognition for their sustainability practices.”

As part of the partnership, BWH Hotels in the U.S. and Canada will have access to Green Key Global’s comprehensive sustainability certification program. The program is designed to help hotels improve their environmental performance and reduce their carbon footprint while also improving guest comfort and satisfaction.

“We are delighted to partner with Green Key Global to further establish sustainability standards across our properties,” said Michael Morton, VP, brand management, BWH Hotels. “Green Key Global is a trusted and recognized organization, and we believe this partnership will enable us to strengthen our commitment to sustainability and provide our guests with an environmentally responsible hotel experience.”
