Four management companies add to their portfolios

LBA Hospitality, Crestline Hotels & Resorts, Sandpiper Hospitality and Pathfinder Hospitality have all recently expanded their portfolios of managed properties.

LBA Hospitality acquires management contract for Florida Best Western
LBA Hospitality, an Alabama-based hotel management company, has taken over the management contract for the 101-suite Best Western New Smyrna Beach Hotel & Suites in New Smyrna Beach, FL. The beachfront hotel is owned by Key International.

The eight-story property is situated 15 miles from Daytona Beach International Airport, not far from Disney World, Cape Canaveral and the Cape Canaveral National Seashore. Other nearby attractions include Turtle Mound, Ponce Inlet, Daytona Racetrack and the beaches of New Smyrna Beach.

The property’s guestrooms feature kitchenettes and balconies with unobstructed views of the Atlantic Ocean. Amenities include an outdoor swimming pool with a sundeck, a fitness center and on-site dining.

Crestline selected to manage Courtyard Dulles Airport Herndon
Crestline Hotels & Resorts LLC has been selected to manage the 187-guestroom Courtyard Dulles Airport Herndon Virginia. The newly renovated hotel is located about five miles from Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD) and provides a free airport shuttle service. The hotel was recently acquired by an affiliate of Avistone LLC.

The hotel is near major businesses including IBM, Amazon, Northrop Grumman, Raytheon, Boeing, Cisco Systems and Lockheed Martin. Each of the guestrooms and suites features plush bedding, work desks with ergonomic seating and flat-panel TVs, as well as free high-speed WiFi. The Bistro serves breakfast, dinner and cocktails. Additional amenities include a 910-sq.-ft. meeting room, a 24-hour business center, complimentary guest parking and long-term parking for an additional charge.

Sandpiper opens and now manages two newly developed Texas hotels
Sandpiper Hospitality has added two newly developed Wyndham Hotels & Resorts properties in Texas to its managed portfolio—a dual-branded La Quinta Inn/Hawthorn Suites in Pflugerville and an AmericInn in San Angelo. The hotels are the first Wyndham Hotels & Resorts brands under management by Sandpiper Hospitality.

The two properties are the first of four properties being developed in Texas by Mike Forrest and Brett Emerson of Odessa. Two additional dual-branded La Quinta Inn & Suites/Hawthorn Suites properties will also be managed by Sandpiper Hospitality—one opening in Del Rio later this year and another in Austin in 2023.

Located 24 miles from Austin-Bergstrom International Airport and close to the Typhoon Texas Waterpark and Stone Hill Town Center, the La Quinta Inn/Hawthorn Suites in Pflugerville features 103 rooms and suites, as well as free breakfast, a fitness center, a Lobby Market featuring many Texas brands, meeting space and an outdoor pool with a Texas Star at the bottom, along with a fire pit.

Located eight miles from San Angelo Regional Airport and close to Goodfellow Air Force Base and Angelo State University, the AmericInn has 84 rooms and offers free breakfast, a fitness center, a lobby market featuring many Texas brands, a business center and an outdoor pool with a fire pit.

Pathfinder adds Wingate by Wyndham Round Rock Hotel & Conference Center
Pathfinder Hospitality has added the Wingate by Wyndham Round Rock Hotel & Conference Center in Round Rock, TX, to its portfolio of management contracts. This will be the company’s first hotel in the San Antonio market.

The hotel has 100 rooms, a full-service restaurant & bar, a 15,000-sq.-ft. conference space, an on-site lounge, free breakfast, a business & fitness center and a backyard with a pool. This property is also right near Dell’s headquarters and Dell Diamond.
