MMI Hotel Group (MMI) has assumed management responsibilities for two Wyndham Hotels & Resorts properties in Texas: the dual-branded La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Pflugerville and Hawthorn Extended Stay by Wyndham Pflugerville and the AmericInn by Wyndham in San Angelo. The properties are owned by Texas-based developers Mike Forrest and Brett Emerson,
“MMI’s ability to optimize asset performance through dynamic revenue management, disciplined cost control and market-responsive strategy has fueled our steady growth,” said Dominic Buompastore, VP, operations, MMI Hotel Group. “These new properties reflect our ongoing commitment to identifying high-potential opportunities and maximizing value for owners, guests and brand partners.”
The Pflugerville property represents a first-of-its-kind dual-branded concept in the area. Located just outside Austin, it features 103 guestrooms and suites, complimentary breakfast, a fitness center, meeting space and an outdoor pool with a giant Texas Star and fire pit. There is also a lobby market showcasing Texas-made products.
The AmericInn hotel offers 84 rooms near Goodfellow Air Force Base and Angelo State University, with amenities such as complimentary breakfast, a fitness center, a business center, a lobby market and a fire pit by the outdoor pool.
“These hotels were designed with long-term community impact in mind,” said co-owner Emerson. “MMI brings a level of operational insight, especially in revenue strategy and guest experience, that aligns perfectly with our vision.”
MMI Hotel Group will oversee day-to-day operations; revenue management; sales and marketing; and guest satisfaction initiatives at all three properties. These additions mark a strategic step in MMI Hotel Group’s growth beyond its Southeastern roots.
