Set to provide a new, luxurious destination in Milwaukee’s metropolitan area, Renaissance Milwaukee West in Wauwatosa, WA, will open to the public in August located within the Mayfair Mall shopping district. Designed by Simeone Deary Design Group, the hotel will incorporate masculine and feminine details, paying tribute to the craftsmanship of tailors and seamstresses. The Renaissance Milwaukee West will serve as a hub for both travelers and locals alike within proximity to businesses including Milwaukee County Research Park, Medical College of Wisconsin and several other large and small corporations. Guests staying at the hotel will also have access to experiences and entertainment at Miller Park, Wauwatosa Village, Milwaukee County Zoo, Wisconsin Expo Center, Historic Third Ward and Fiserv Forum among others. The project is developed in partnership with HKS Holdings LLC and will be managed by Concord Hospitality Enterprises.

“We are honored to be opening the first Renaissance hotel in the state of Wisconsin to serve our local community members and visitors to Wauwatosa and Milwaukee areas,” said Vik Khokhar, general manager, Renaissance Milwaukee West Hotel. “It’s a symbol of pride and optimism in these unprecedented times. Travel is an essential part of our lives to discover something new. We look forward to the very near future when we can celebrate with our guests, all the while extending authentic services and unveiling this clean, safe and stylish environment that will add new colors to their experiences. From the moment of arrival until they depart, guests can expect to immerse themselves into design elements that are intriguing and unexpected in many ways.”

With the artistry and complexity of the fashion world’s tailors and seamstresses in mind, Renaissance Milwaukee West is designed creatively to balance structured and organic shaping and masculine and feminine details into a transcended beauty and simplicity. The architecture of the hotel will provide a backdrop to the visual lines throughout that emphasize the art of garment construction, accomplished using forms from the tools of the fashion trade. Furniture within the hotel will be expressive yet functional and classically styled with a twist, highlighting warm and vibrant colors.

Standing 12 stories tall, Renaissance Milwaukee West will have 196 modern guestrooms and suites, featuring distinctive style with touches of whimsy. In each guestroom, visitors may enjoy pillowtop beds with cotton-rich linens and pillows, modern amenities and the ability to stream movies and TV shows on 55-in. HDTV with Netflix, Hulu, Pandora, YouTube and other services. Eligible guests and Marriott Bonvoy members may also use the Club Lounge with concierge services available. Catering to a wide range of guests and needs, the hotel will feature several amenities including a 12th-floor fitness center, lobby bar and event space on the top floor that provides panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.
