First Hospitality promotes Brosnan, Lombard

First Hospitality has promoted two hospitality veterans to key roles on its corporate team: John Brosnan to VP, sales and Geri Lombard to regional VP, operations.

In his new role, Brosnan is responsible for leading and overseeing all sales strategy at First Hospitality. He will work closely with the on-property sales directors to develop top sales talent and formulate strategic sales plans to generate top-line revenue and exceed booking goals, according to the company. Previously, he served as the regional VP of sales since 2022 and joined First Hospitality in 2018 as regional director of sales.

In her new role, Lombard will oversee First Hospitality’s portfolio of properties in the Louisville market, including the Tempo by Hilton Nulu (opening late 2023), Hilton Garden Inn Louisville, 8Up Drinkery & Kitchen, Home2 Suites Nulu, Hancock House, Henry Clay Event Center and the soft-branded Hotel Elsby, which is currently under development in New Albany, IN. Most recently, she served as the area general manager at several of First Hospitality’s Ohio-based properties, including the Hotel LeVeque in Columbus. She joined First Hospitality in 2017 as the opening general manager of the Hotel LeVeque.
