NATIONAL REPORT—Hospitality companies are reshaping their leadership rosters with personnel moves. Here’s a look at new hires at Coury Hospitality, Loews Hotels & Co, Menin Hospitality, and KSL Resorts.

Tom Santora Named Chief Commercial Officer for Coury Hospitality
Coury Hospitality has appointed Tom Santora as the company’s CCO, as well as managing director of both Hotel Vin, an Autograph Collection boutique hotel, and Harvest Hall, a food hall offering handcrafted cuisine and entertainment options. Both are part of Grapevine Main, a $114 million mixed-use development in Grapevine, TX. In his role as CCO, Santora is responsible for the commercial strategy and advancement of the Coury Hospitality brand.

Loews Hotels & Co Appoints Steve Younes as Chief Human Resources Officer
Loews Hotels & Co has tapped Steve Younes as its EVP & chief human resources officer. Prior to Loews, he served as SVP of human resources at Ascension. During his tenure, he led the redesign of Ascension’s human resources service delivery model supporting its 155,000 member workforce and elevated the function from a transactional organization to a true strategic thought partner.

Menin Hospitality Appoints Robert Festinger as VP
Menin Hospitality has appointed Robert Festinger as VP of hotel operations, in conjunction with his current role as the Mondrian South Beach’s general manager. He brings more than two decades worth of hospitality experience to the table, having worked in hotel properties across South Florida New York and Chicago. He’s held senior management positions with notable brands, including Starwood Hotels and Resorts, where he received the Platinum Award as director of catering and convention service and the Newport Beachside Hotel and Resort, where he oversaw operations for the Sunny Isles oceanfront resort’s 360 rooms and more than 600 employees. Most recently, Festinger served as GM of Yve, a 250 room downtown Miami hotel owned by Host Hotels and Resorts and managed by Destination Hotels and Resorts.

KSL Resorts Names VP of Investments, Business Development
KSL Resorts President James Struthers has promoted David Goldstein to VP of investments and business development. Since 2013, Goldstein acted as KSLR’s director of financial planning and analysis, helping launch KSLR’s asset management division and leading underwriting on marquis acquisitions including Monarch Beach Resort, Outrigger Hospitality Group, and Miraval Resorts. He was later appointed to senior director of investments & business development in 2018.
