Dina Belon named Staypineapple president

Staypineapple Hotels Inc., the Pacific Northwest-based third-party licensing and property management company has appointed Dina Belon to the role of president, effective Nov. 1.

With a track record of more than 25 years in the hospitality industry, Belon’s appointment comes as part of the company’s commitment to increase the brand’s footprint through management and branding of third-party-owned assets.

“Staypineapple Hotels Inc. and the Staypineapple brand of boutique properties nationwide is at an exciting turning point as it prepares for growth and expansion,” said Todd Boysen, departing president/CEO. “As I set my eyes on retirement, there is no one I can envision being more knowledgeable and prepared to lead the company into its next chapter than Dina, as she’s been a driving force behind what Staypineapple is today.”

Bolen has spent the past seven years in progressive leadership roles with the company. She started with Staypineapple leading real estate assets, before transitioning into the VP, operations position, followed by her most recent role as COO.

“When Dina first joined Staypineapple’s leadership team in 2016, we knew we had found someone truly special,” said Michelle Barnet, founder/chief pineapple officer, Staypineapple. “Over the years, Dina has fully embraced our mission to build a hotel brand that isn’t just about rooms and beds, but instead about creating memorable experiences that become a part of the traveler’s journey.”

In her new position as president, Bolen will take the helm of the organization, leading Staypineapple’s executive leadership team, as well as the business development department in its expansion efforts.
