dash design launches dash dine

dash design has launched dash dine, a new division of dash design, which will be dedicated specifically to restaurant design and all aspects of food and beverage interiors, according to David Ashen, president of dash design and dash dine.

“Restaurants today have become a destination, they are no longer considered a stop in between activities, they are the activity.  They also are at the intersection of my own career and have provided tremendous creative outlets as we have worked within the hospitality, entertainment and retail markets,” he added.

Known for his ability to create compelling, user-focused experiences, global brand leaders have turned to Ashen for his strategy-driven, customer-centric, approach and expertise in interior design and branding services. His restaurant designs exemplify the melding of those key ingredients, clear strategic direction, creativity and profitability, according to the company.

Leading dash dine will be Design Director Kristin Cullen. Cullen joined dash design in 2011 and has led the F&B studio within the firm. She innately understands how to shape and elevate the user experience, one that evokes an emotional connection to the space, that is equal parts form and function. She has a genuine passion for creating memorable dining experiences, according to the company.

Some of the notable restaurant projects dash design has brought to life include Urban Farmer Steakhouse brands; the Emporium Kitchen & Wine Market; Batture Bar + Bistro at One 11, in New Orleans; and multiple restaurants for James Beard award recipient and Iron Chef, Jose Garces, including Amada, Distrito, Olon, Okatshe and The Olde Bar, with additional projects in the works.
