Chris Kontos joins McNeill Hotel Company

McNeill Hotel Company (MHC) has appointed Chris Kontos to the position of regional director of operations. In this role, Kontos will report directly to Jesse Kremer, MHC VP, hotel operations, and work closely with all general managers, assistant general managers, sales teams, housekeeping and other staff at individual hotels under his supervision.

“Chris has an outstanding record of achievement and demonstrated success in the fields of hospitality management, finance, sales and customer service, and he has great experience with our select-service brand partners, Hyatt, Marriott and Hilton,” Kremer said. “He is a welcome addition to our experienced executive team.”

Kontos has more than 25 years of hospitality industry experience. Immediately prior to joining MHC, he spent 10 years with Hotel Management Group as regional director of operations for the Midwest and Carolina markets. His activities there included direct involvement in the development of Hyatt- and Hilton-branded hotels from pre-construction to grand openings.

Previously, he was GM at Cliffbreakers Hotel & Resort as GM, and spent more than 25 years with CFI in various roles.
