AvantStay has scaled its hotel portfolio with the opening of The Mara Laguna Beach, a newly managed and reimagined boutique hotel set just above the Pacific Ocean in Laguna Beach, CA. The 66-room hotel marks the company’s ninth takeover of a former Sonder-operated property.

Located a block from the beach in Laguna Beach’s Pearl District, The Mara offers a rooftop terrace with ocean views, a pool, hot tub and shared communal spaces. The property also offers concierge services to support guests’ needs throughout their stay. The hotel provides access to the surrounding area, including nearby coves such as Woods Cove and Crescent Bay.
