AHLA Foundation’s ForWard initiative launches regional event series

ForWard, an AHLA Foundation initiative to celebrate and elevate women in hospitality, has launched a regional events series this year in Atlanta; Columbus, OH; Washington, DC; and Las Vegas, with more to come in the fall.

These two-hour complimentary programs provide inspiration, networking and valuable insights to boost women’s professional journeys. The sessions are complimentary and open to both members and non-members. Click here for information and registration.

The ForWard Network is open any and all working in the hospitality industry who are passionate about the mission of ForWard. Participation in the network is complimentary and not limited to any professional level or company type. The network is designed to provide a space to convene and collaborate with peers looking to build local community to celebrate and elevate women in hospitality. Working groups are currently underway to build and engage with early initiatives. Join here.

“Hospitality is a vibrant and dynamic industry for everyone, driven in many ways by women (who make up at least half the industry’s workforce),” said Anna Blue, president, AHLA Foundation. “Programs like ForWard are crucial because they provide targeted support, mentorship and resources that help women navigate their careers, find community and take advantage of opportunities to excel and lead. There are incredible women who are moving our industry forward each day, from students to C-suite and everything between, and the AHLA Foundation and ForWard are here to elevate and celebrate those women. Ultimately, that’s how we’ll create a broader narrative for our industry, attract new talent, and make our industry stronger and more resilient.”
