Vicaima furnishes Basque hotel

The inspiring style of the typical manor houses of the Basque Country is the essence of the Tres Reyes San Sebastián Hotel concept. The welcoming and sophisticated ambiance is composed of decorative details such as embossing, checked patterns and reed chairs, all evoking a unique and singular decoration. The Portaro by Vicaima was chosen to provide a perfect blend of doors with the design of the singularly architectural space created by the interior designer Lázaro Rosa-Violán’s studio.

All entrances of the hotel’s 80 rooms and suites were fitted with the Portaro Ei30 AC40db, a solution offering fire resistance up to 30 minutes and acoustic isolation up to 40 decibels, thereby ensuring guests’ comfort and protection. The Portaro solution—set of door, frame and accessories in a single piece—is part of the broad range of Vicaima products that are available with FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certification.

The blending of the city’s historic architecture and contemporary elements establishes the unique identity of this hotel property. For this project, two Vicaima coatings were selected which match the aesthetics and decoration of the development. The Lacdor RAL 9010 solid color in contrast with the Naturdor Stained Toffee Brown natural wood veneer creates a sophisticated and elegant setting.

As a leading European player in the design and production of vanguard solutions for interior doors, technical doors, frames, wardrobes, panels and furniture items, Vicaima expands its portfolio to include a new project in the Basque Country, which is one of Spain’s most dynamic tourist regions.
