V Starr adds leaders

In the year following its 20th anniversary, V Starr has revealed promotions and new appointments to its leadership team, who are all located in the firm’s West Palm Beach, FL studio. With the continued leadership of Principal Sonya Haffey and Design Director Holly Nixon, V Starr has added two members to its senior leadership team, Jennifer Phillips and Gaby Fiallos, and promoted Gracie Huden from junior designer.

“We are proud of our growing team of diverse talent and backgrounds,” said Haffey. She added, “Our continued growth and fortified team position us for reaching the next objectives in V Starr’s development.”

The new team members come from a variety of backgrounds and locations:

Phillips (featured image) relocated from Las Vegas to join the team as senior project manager and brings more than 25 years of experience working in spanning from conceptual design to full building implementation to interior design administration and field services. From multibillion-dollar hotel and casino resorts to high-rise residential and commercial office buildings, she thrives on challenging environments.

Fiallos joined the team as senior designer with an MFA from The Savannah College of Art and Design, and a diverse range of experience that includes a three month collaboration with Delta Airlines, where she gained experience researching and developing creative concepts with an interdisciplinary team. Gaby’s interior design career began in her hometown of Quito, Ecuador, working in the luxury residential market and quickly came to include the commercial sector.

Huden, who joined V Starr in 2020, has been promoted to interior designer. A recent graduate of Auburn University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Interior Design, Gracie’s experience includes a residential design background in her hometown of Baton Rouge, where she grew up drawing floor plans as a child.
