U.S. hotel results for week ending July 18

The U.S. hotel industry reported another week of positive year-over-year comparisons, according to CoStar data through July 18.

July 2026 (percentage change from comparable week in 2025):

Occupancy: 72.4% (+1.1%)
ADR: $174.49 (+5.2%)
RevPAR: $126.33 (+6.3%)

Among the top 25 markets, New York City saw the largest increases in ADR (+41.5% to $425.03) and RevPAR (+40.3% to$377.07). The market reported a 105.1% lift in ADR and a 116.1% gain in RevPAR on Saturday, July 18—the night before the World Cup final between Spain and Argentina.

Washington, DC, reported the largest occupancy gain (+7.0% to 78.3%).

Helped by continued World Cup tourism, Miami registered the second-highest jump in ADR (+26.7% to $212.74).

Dallas, which hosted a semifinal match between France and Spain, experienced the second-largest RevPAR increase (+26.6% to $96.81) on the third-highest ADR gain (+21.5% to $144.41).
