Hodges Ward Elliott brokers sale of The Alida, Savannah
Hodges Ward Elliott has arranged the sale of The Alida, Savannah, a 173-room lifestyle hotel in Savannah, GA.
The hotel (shown above) opened in October 2018, redefining the western end of River St. The hotel is known for its location in the city’s historic district one block from the Savannah River, adjacent to a newly developed entertainment area.
The property includes 21 suites as part of its 173 luxury accommodations. The rooms in The Alida, Savannah average 371 sq. ft. and feature high ceilings, hardwood floors, built-in window seats and marble bathrooms. The hotel offers 11,570 sq. ft. of meeting space (5,170 indoor); four food and beverage outlets featuring Lost Square, a rooftop bar with panoramic views, and Rhett, an American kitchen; as well as an outdoor pool, and street front retail space. Makeready has overseen operations and will continue to do so following the sale.

Marcus & Millichap arranged the sale of Courtyard by Marriot Asheville Airport, a 91-room hospitality property in Arden, NC.
Chase Dewese, Jack Davis, Joce Messinger, Josh Williams and Milin Mehta, investment specialists in Marcus & Millichap’s Charleston and Charlotte Uptown offices, had the exclusive listing to market the property on behalf of the seller, a private investor. The listing team also secured and represented the buyer, another private investor.
