RobertDouglas was the exclusive advisor to a Lowe-sponsored joint venture in the refinancing of the 215-key Tommy Bahama Miramonte Resort & Spa in Indian Wells, CA.
The property debuted as the first Tommy Bahama branded resort in late 2023 and completed a significant, multiphased, renovation in early 2025. The resort’s amenities include the Grapefruit Basil and Chiki Palm restaurants, more than 35,000 sq. ft. of indoor and outdoor meeting and event space, the 12,000-sq.-ft. Spa Rosa and multiple resort-style swimming pools across the 11-acre property.
The resort is located in the Coachella Valley, famous for its scenic desert landscapes, upscale accommodations and strong tourism sector. Within driving distance to the 23 million residents of Los Angeles County, Orange County, Inland Empire and San Diego County and served by the Palm Springs International Airport, the region hosts major annual events such as the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, the Stagecoach Music Festival, the BNP Paribas Open and PGA and LGPA tournaments.
