Best Western’s SureStay Plus brand has opened properties in Peoria, IL; Cookstown, NJ; and Smithfield, RI.
The SureStay Plus Hotel by Best Western Peoria (shown above) in Peoria, IL, has opened after completing a more than $1-million renovation. The property offers 60 guestrooms and nine suites, all updated with new furniture, bedding, vanities and sinks. Each room offers a flat-screen television, microwave and mini fridge. Amenities include complimentary hot breakfast, free wireless internet, an indoor pool and an on-site fitness center.
The property is near attractions such as the Peoria Riverfront Museum, Peoria Civic Center, Peoria Zoo and Sluggers Baseball Complex, in addition to the Caterpillar corporate office and OSF Saint Francis Medical Center.
The SureStay Plus Hotel by Best Western McGuire AFB Jackson has completed a full renovation and has opened its doors in Cookstown, NJ. The property has 102 guestrooms, each with a flat-screen television, microwave and mini fridge. A new business center and meeting room accommodates up to 14 people, while the upgraded outdoor space features a pergola with seating, a large chess board and a foosball activity table. Other amenities include a fitness center, complimentary hot breakfast and free wireless internet.
The property is near the Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, Six Flags Great Adventure theme park and Sesame Place children’s theme and water park, as well as Jackson Premium Outlets, Burlington Center Mall and Fair Ground Plaza.

Each room has a flat-screen television and mini fridge, with some also offering a microwave. Amenities include a fitness center, an outdoor pool, two meeting and event spaces, complimentary hot breakfast and free wireless internet.
The property is close to Downtown Providence, the Rhode Island Convention Center, Southwick Zoo, the Smith-Appleby House museum and the beaches of Newport. Also nearby are Bryant University and the company headquarters of Fidelity, CVS and Amica.
