The Ritz-Carlton Key Biscayne, Miami reopens following $100M renovation

The Ritz Carlton Key Biscayne, Miami has reopened, debuting a $100 million transformation. The resort spans 17 acres of beachfront.

The property features newly refashioned open-air architecture, ocean views and a palette of sun-washed island tones and natural textures. Led by the global luxury hospitality developers Gencom and design studios Hart Howerton, DesignAgency and Chapi Chapo Design, the renovation marks the resort’s first comprehensive renewal in nearly 25 years.

We’ve created a resort intended to transport our guests and inspire celebration, reconnection and rejuvenation.”

The resort’s guestrooms and suites feature bespoke furnishings, layered natural elements and color palettes inspired by sea and sand, as well as floor-to-ceiling windows and private terraces. The Presidential Suite offers two bedrooms, two and a half baths, a private balcony and 2,620 sq. ft. of indoor–outdoor living space.

Six distinct beachfront dining and cocktail destinations have been added, including Luna and Paralia restaurants, Rum Bar, Dune Beach Bar, Stefano’s by the pool and Scoop for gelato.

Pura Vida Miami, the Miami-born wellness lifestyle brand, has also introduced an all-day café, while Bissinger’s Handcrafted Chocolatiers round out the offerings.

The Ritz-Carlton Spa, Key Biscayne, a 30,000-sq.-ft. spa also debuts, with 16 treatment rooms, including three couples suites, a full-service salon and restorative spaces such as the Spa Sanctuary, Journey Lounge and Sensory Spa Garden with private cabanas.

The resort’s leisure programming includes water sports, pools, new cabanas and the Cliff Drysdale Tennis Center, which now offers tennis, pickleball and padel courts. Curated retail outposts include 120 Lino, Lilly Pulitzer, Coastal Boutique, Sabbia Fine Jewelry and The Spa Boutique. There is also a new Ritz Kids Club for children.
