The Chicago Hotel Collection, a portfolio of independent boutique hotels, has acquired the Ambassador Chicago. The hotel is located in the Gold Coast neighborhood of the Windy City and is the collection’s fourth property.
With nearly a century of history, the hotel has hosted Hollywood legends, cultural icons and world travelers. Under new ownership, the hotel will honor its storied legacy while introducing modern enhancements to elevate the guest experience, the company reports.
“We are thrilled to welcome Ambassador Chicago into our collection,” said W. Pierce Hutchings, manager, The Chicago Hotel Collection. “This acquisition aligns with our vision to blend historic properties with contemporary, guest-centric experiences.”
The property features 285 guestrooms and a lobby lounge and will soon have a new dining concept. Other strategic enhancements will be made soon.
