SureFit Home Décor LLC has purchased Protect-A-Bed Inc.
The acquisition of Protect-A-Bed will enable SureFit Home Décor to expand its presence into additional retail channels and offer new products to existing customers. It will also introduce the company’s myriad existing collections to a new sector of consumers, further expanding SureFit’s global reach and market share, according to the company.
“The Protect-A-Bed brand represents a significant addition to the current portfolio of home textiles products offered in our consumer and hospitality divisions,” said SureFit Home Décor CEO Jeffrey Werner. “[CEO James Bell’s] team has built a tremendous brand and brings a strong passion and expertise in innovation and education to the mattress protection category. We are very happy to have them on board.”
Protect-A-Bed will remain headquartered in Wheeling, IL.
