Architecture and design firm Stonehill Taylor has promoted five of its employees.

Mari Ito (pictured above) has been promoted to architectural associate. Originally from Japan, she had her own firm for almost 10 years before moving to the U.S. Her experience covers all aspects of architecture and design, from planning and design development to drawing execution and site administration. She has worked on projects including the renovations of the InterContinental Barclay and Hilton Atlanta.
Bethany Gale has been promoted to interior design associate. She started her career in Atlanta before transferring to London, where she worked internationally on luxury hotel, residential and hospitality design projects. In 2013, she teamed up with Summer Williams and moved to New York to manage and expand Summer Williams Design. Shortly after, she joined the Stonehill Taylor team. Most recently she led teams for the design of the Eliza Jane in New Orleans and the soon-to-open Conrad Hotel Midtown in Manhattan.
Hiten Gandhi has been promoted to architectural associate. He is an experienced architect with more than 16 years of work in the healthcare, education, commercial, hospitality and residential sectors. He is currently working on the WeLive in Seattle and a new build project in Midtown Manhattan.
Michael Lehner has been promoted to architectural associate. His experience includes work in residential, hospitality, and corporate buildings. He most recently led the teams for the Moxy Times Square and Nomad Hotel in Las Vegas.
DeeDee Sanchez has been promoted to interior design associate. Most recently, she completed work on the Pod DC, The Camby in Phoenix, the Axiom Hotel in San Francisco, and the soon-to-open TWA Hotel at the iconic Eero Saarinen building at JFK Airport.
Associates will work closely with the firm’s five principals on projects and new initiatives, acting as brand and design ambassadors for the company. The introduction of these new associates is continuing the firm’s ongoing structuring of its leadership to leverage the firm’s dual expertise in hospitality architecture and design.
