Six hotels under new management

New Castle Hotels & Resorts has been chosen to manage two properties on Long Island, while Benchmark Pyramid, EOS Hospitality and Crown Hotel & Travel Management have also added to their portfolios.

New Castle selected to manage two Long Island properties
New Castle Hotels & Resorts has entered into an agreement to manage the Hilton Garden Inn Riverhead and Residence Inn by Marriott Long Island East End. The two hotels are located next to each other in Riverhead, NY, the gateway to Long Island’s Wine Country.

The upscale Hilton Garden Inn Riverhead offers 114 guestrooms along with an outdoor patio and gathering area with a fireplace. Culinary options include a restaurant serving daily breakfast, dinner and room service and a full-service bar. Other amenities include an indoor pool; indoor and outdoor whirlpools that are open year-round; and 2,100 sq. ft. of meeting space.

Residence Inn Long Island East End offers 131 suites, as well as two pools; an outdoor patio space with a fireplace; a full-service bar; complimentary daily breakfast; indoor and outdoor whirlpools that are open year-round; and three event rooms.

New Castle Hotels & Resorts is partnering with Open Ocean Creative to transform the existing ballroom at the Residence Inn Long Island East End. The 6,000-sq.-ft. meeting and event venue will be rebranded.

Benchmark Pyramid adds Legacy Lodge to portfolio
Benchmark Pyramid has added the 283-room Legacy Lodge in Lanier Islands, GA, to its third-party hotel management portfolio.

Located on Georgia’s 1,200-acre Lanier Islands, the resort property is surrounded by marinas and water activities, golf courses and Lake Lanier. Amenities include a heated saltwater lounging pool, business center, more than 38,000 sq. ft. of flexible meeting space and a 24/7 fitness center. The hotel also provides a Family Entertainment Center, walking trails, golf cart rentals to explore the islands and an 18-hole golf course, as well as outdoor firepits.

The Lodge features several dining and drinking options, including Sidney’s overlooking the Lake and Bullfrog’s, a poolside dining experience for lunch and dinner. The resort also provides access to the Margaritaville waterpark experience on the islands.

EOS Hospitality chosen to manage two Florida Keys properties
EOS Hospitality has been selected to manage Havana Cabana at Key West and Tranquility Bay Beachfront Hotel and Resort, both in the Florida Keys. The properties are owned by DiamondRock Hospitality Company.

Havana Cabana Key West offers 106 guestrooms; the largest pool in Key West, according to EOS; Floridita Food Truck and Mojitos Pool Bar.

Tranquility Bay Beachfront Hotel and Resort is a waterfront property featuring 87 private beach houses and 16 guestrooms. The resort offers a 2.5-acre private beach and three pools, including a lagoon-style pool as well as an adults-only pool, as well as Butterfly Café, the beachside Tiki Bar, a putting green by Nicklaus Design, a fitness center and on-site watersports.

Crown Hotel & Travel Management hired to manage North Carolina HGI
Crown Hotel & Travel Management has been hired to manage the Hilton Garden Inn Greenville University Area currently under development in Greenville, NC. The 101-room, eight-story property, slated to open in mid-2023, features a bistro, rooftop bar and conference space.

Close to East Carolina University (ECU), the hotel is owned by Greenville Capital LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Co-X Properties headed by ECU graduates M. Scott Diggs and Paul Adkison. Developer/partner John Sandlin, president/CEO, Clarendon Properties, will oversee the construction of the project.
