Elska Wall Mount Reading Lamp – Blueprint Lighting
A blend of Scandinavian, Danish and Italian modernism, the Elska Wall Mount Reading Lamp from Blueprint Lighting is an architectural light source situated against a walnut back plate with distinct, brass fittings. Elegantly protruding from the back plate is an angular brass arm that supports a tapered and curvilinear cone.
“Elska was originally designed to meet a specific client need—the designer wanted a lamp that was sleek and modern, while also conveying a feeling of warmth, as these were to be used as wall-mount bedside lamps. We turned to classic California modernism, utilizing mixed materials including a handmade rectilinear backplate of natural walnut and brass details to achieve the desired look,” said Kelly Aaron, chief luminary, Blueprint Lighting.
Belle Pendant (IC Collection) – Fire Farm
Belle is a massive 6-ft. diameter 16-gauge steel dome with a hand-patinated exterior contrasted with a lustrous gold-leafed interior. Belle is one of the largest pendant fixtures Fire Farm has undertaken in metal. The outer surface is hand finished with a blackening patina to accentuate its natural industrial beauty. Silica-bronze welding seams trace across the surface.
“The golden pool of light she projects below her creates a comforting embrace to those within her sphere of influence. She defines her environment with a presence that is both powerful and gentle. She is the Belle of the ball,” said Adam Jackson Pollock, Belle’s designer/Fire Farm founder.
Skaal – Les Jardins Solar Lighting
