Robert Burg, former president, N.A. of Aimbridge Hospitality, has launched Avion Hospitality, a third-party hotel management company.
Avion was formed to provide hotel owners a management platform supporting operations with technology and focused expertise to identify and implement initiatives to improve bottom-line performance, according to its founder.

With a bench of hospitality industry veterans, Avion Hospitality has focused on putting infrastructure in front of growth, specifically in the areas of operations, sales and revenue management, according to Burg. Experienced active oversight is enhanced with cutting-edge systems for operations including revenue management, accounting, procurement and human resources for hotel owners and brand partners.
With Aimbridge, Burg oversaw all North American assets including 1,400 hotels represented by more than 200 ownership groups. He was a founding member of Aimbridge since the company’s inception in 2003 and has more than 30 years of experience in the hospitality industry.
