Resolute Road Hospitality and Wyndham Hotels and Resorts recently hosted a joint event, “Economics of the Extended-Stay Segment of Lodging,” in Nashville.
The event brought more than 100 hospitality industry executives together to discuss a wide array of topics, including best management practices, current market trends and Wyndham’s newest extended-stay brand, ECHO Suites.
“It was a privilege to host this event alongside Wyndham,” said Daniel Pinheiro, chief business development officer, Resolute Road Hospitality. “It was a productive event filled with passionate hospitality professionals interested in the rapidly growing extended-stay market. Attendees shared valuable insights and collaborated on best practices in the sector.”
Gary Horton, president, Resolute Road Hospitality, delivered a presentation offering insights into effective management and operation strategies tailored to the extended-stay industry.
“Since announcing ECHO Suites last year, our pipeline of ECHO Suites has rapidly grown to 265 hotels with some of the industry’s most successful extended-stay developers,” said Chip Ohlsson, chief development officer, Wyndham Hotels & Resorts. “Now the time has come to introduce this brand to a wider audience of hotel developers with development seminars across the country like the one we hosted near Nashville. We believe [that] adding additional ECHO Suites in the right markets with the right developers is a recipe for success for this brand and its highly efficient, ROI-driven design, which offers among the most rentable square-footage in the industry.”
The event also featured David Wilner, SVP, franchise development, and Frank Forcier, director of franchise development, both from Wyndham Hotels & Resorts. Other industry experts included Guy Pisani, development director, Holladay Properties; Ted Torres, managing director, CREDE; Kelsey Fenerty, manager, analytics, STR; Kevin Wosko, managing director, PACE Equity; and Kevin O’Neil and Richard Sprecher, CHA, VPs, business development, Resolute Road Hospitality.
