Renaissance Phoenix Glendale Hotel in Arizona renovates

Renaissance Phoenix Glendale Hotel & Spa in Glendale, AZ has undergone a renovation. Atrium Hospitality operates the 324-key hotel. Encompassing a water and earth theme and modern enhancements, the hotel’s nine-month, multimillion-dollar makeover spanned all guest accommodations, lobby, common areas, conference center, fitness center, indoor and outdoor pools, restaurants and bars and 100,000 sq. ft. of meeting space.

Located at 9495 W. Entertainment Blvd. in the Westgate Entertainment District, the Renaissance Phoenix Glendale is a short walk from the Desert Diamond Arena and the State Farm Stadium.

The Renaissance Phoenix Glendale Hotel & Spa’s overall inspiring atmosphere sets the tone to relax or work while enjoying the natural beauty of the local area. Upon arrival, guests will find a welcoming environment in the hotel’s transformed, modern lobby, which includes generous seating. Highlighting a soothing color palette of gray, blue, green and brown, the makeover features stylish furniture, fixtures and textiles; clean lines; an abundance of LED lighting; and unique artwork, wall installations and large video screens with time-lapsed desert scenes. The space also includes the renovated and rebranded Desert Sage Restaurant & Bar, which offers indoor and outdoor seating.

The AAA Four Diamond-awarded Renaissance Phoenix Glendale’s guestroom count increased by four keys with the renovation. The guest accommodations (278 rooms/46 suites), include ample charging stations, more room options with walk-in showers with wand and fixed shower heads, 55-in. smart TVs, wood grain finishes, attractive lighting fixtures, soft seating, new pillowtop beds with white duvets and functional desks as well as moveable work surfaces. Some accommodations include balconies.

As a new premium upgrade, the Glendale hotel has 10 Pure Wellness guest accommodations, creating a wellness environment by incorporating science and technology to treat the surface and air in rooms.

The hotel offers 100,000 sq. ft. of newly upgraded indoor meeting space, featuring high ceilings, no columns and subdividable options. The Media Center Ballroom is its largest event space and can be configured for a range of gatherings, including 3,400 in theater style, 2,700 in banquet rounds and 1,690 in classroom style. In addition, the hotel provides 8,000 sq. ft. of outdoor event space, including the newly added Aurora Circle. Available year-round, the Aurora Circle is customizable, seats 400 in banquet rounds and conveniently connects to the indoor Aurora Ballroom.
