Remington appoints Randy Jones as chief accounting officer

Hotel management company Remington Hospitality has appointed Randy Jones as the company’s new chief accounting officer (CAO).

He reports directly to CEO Sloan Dean and oversees the company’s comprehensive accounting and financial reporting operations at both the corporate and property levels.

“Randy’s extensive expertise—spanning over 23 years in accounting, finance and large-scale organizational leadership—makes him exceptionally well-suited to drive both our financial strategy and operations as we continue to expand,” said Dean. “Randy is poised to make a significant impact as a strategic financial leader here at Remington Hospitality.”

In his new capacity, Jones will ensure the accuracy, integrity and transparency of financial information while implementing robust internal controls and reporting policies, according to the company. He will also provide critical financial leadership to support the continued growth and profitability of the company, as well as work closely with Ashford Inc., Remington’s parent company, to align financial initiatives with its broader corporate vision and strategy.

Jones most recently served as VP, accounting/corporate controller at Dave & Buster’s Inc., where he spearheaded the company’s accounting and payroll operations. His career also includes senior leadership roles at Brinker International, Lennox International, Nortel and Ernst & Young.
