Remington Hospitality has assumed management of Hotel Miramar, a boutique property located in the Miramar district of San Juan, Puerto Rico. This marks the company’s first venture in the Puerto Rican market, expanding its presence in the Caribbean and Latin America (CALA) region.
Overlooking the Condado Lagoon and located close to Old San Juan, the island’s cruise ship terminals and the Puerto Rico Convention Center, the hotel offers a rooftop terrace with panoramic views of both the Condado Lagoon and the Atlantic Ocean, a fitness center, and a soon-to-reopen M Café & Bar, which will serve breakfast and local specialties.
Remington has begun working with ownership to renovate guestrooms, upgrade technology and enhance the overall guest experience. Planned updates include redesigned bathrooms, contemporary décor and expanded amenities with upgraded business services.
“Our role is to help Hotel Miramar reach its full potential while maintaining the integrity and character that have made it a beloved property for decades,” said Richard Garcia, VP, operations, Caribbean and Latin America, Remington Hospitality. “This partnership is significant for us as we look to expand our footprint in Puerto Rico and beyond. The San Juan market presents incredible growth opportunities, and we’re thrilled to be part of its transformation.”
