Red Roof opens three East Coast properties

Red Roof has opened three properties on the East Coast: the dual-branded Red Roof Inn Richmond, VA – W Broad St. and HomeTowne Studios by Red Roof Richmond, VA – W Broad St., and the HomeTowne Studios by Red Roof Cortland, NY.

The HomeTowne Studios Richmond, VA – W Broad St. has 49 rooms featuring kitchens with full-sized refrigerators, microwaves and activity tables with chairs. The hotel also offers kitchen kits for purchase at the front desk.

The Red Roof Inn Richmond, VA – W Broad St. is a 59-room hotel located adjacent to the HomeTowne Studios property. The two hotels offer free WiFi, complimentary continental breakfast, a coin laundry, free coffee in the lobby, free long-distance calling and free expanded cable. The Red Roof Inn is pet-friendly and guestrooms offer a microwave and a mini-refrigerator.

Owner Jay Sahajanad LLC completed a number of renovations to the hotels as part of their conversion to Red Roof properties, including updating guestroom bathrooms and the guest laundry facility; installing new lobby and guestroom furniture; and adding new bedding, lighting and paint throughout.

The dual-branded property is located near a number of area landmarks and destinations, including Henrico Doctors’ Hospital, Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden, Children’s Museum of Richmond, Richmond Raceway, Virginia Credit Union LIVE!, American Civil War Museum at Historic Tredegar and Virginia Commonwealth University.

The 99-key HomeTowne Studios by Red Roof Cortland, NY, offers rooms featuring kitchenettes with refrigerators and microwaves, as well as free WiFi, weekly housekeeping services and on-site guest laundry facilities. The property also offers meeting facilities, a business center, an indoor pool, a fitness facility and free coffee in the lobby.

Owner Central NY Hospitality LLC completed a number of renovations to the property, which included enhancing the entry facade and updating guestroom bathrooms, as well as new exterior and interior paint, new lighting and flooring throughout, new bedding and new guestroom and lobby furniture. The owners spent an estimated $4.5 million on the renovations.

The hotel is located adjacent to the Red Roof Inn Cortland and is near 1890 House, Guthrie Cortland Medical Center, CNY Living History Center, Cortland Country Music Park, SUNY – Cortland, Shipwreck Golf Amusement Park and Cornell University.
