Raines has hired Perry MacLennan as its new general counsel.
In this new role, MacLennan serves on the executive team and oversees all legal aspects of the Raines business. His primary responsibilities include strategic legal, deal structure and risk management. He also assists the company in managing its workforce of approximately 1,400 team members, leveraging his previous experience as a labor and employment attorney in private practice. He reports to managing partners Grey Raines and David Tart.
MacLennan was previously a shareholder at Haynsworth Sinkler Boyd, PA, where he practiced law for 10 years. He has served as outside counsel to businesses across many industries, focusing his work on contracts, labor, economic development, commercial dispute resolution and other corporate matters.
